A reminder
to all consignors: Consignment checks are written on the 10th of the
month, following the month of sale. Go online to www.funfindsanddesigns.com and click on "Sellers".
At the bottom of
the page you will see a box where you can put in
your consignment number and last name. This will
take you to the page where you can view your
account and see what has been sold, for how much
and when.
If you have made a sale that
month, please COME
BY our store to pick up your check
on the 10th of the following month or anytime
thereafter.
Note: Checks
that haven't been picked within 6 months will be
voided. Special arrangements can be made to have
your checks mailed if you are outside the Canton
area.

Spring
has arrived in all its glory and also with its
challenges. The tornadoes that ripped through our
communities this week have brought us to a
sobering reality that our lives can be changed in
an instant and bring us to the truth that we
should be grateful everyday for our many
blessings.
In an effort to help in some
small way to assist the many people who have lost
all their belongings, we will be sponsoring a
donation drive at Fun Finds. When we have
completed the organization of this project, we
will be sending a special email with
details. Please stay tuned.

Next Design Workshop
We
are kicking off Spring with a fantastic workshop
on refreshing your home and patio with beautiful
container gardens, both inside and out. BRING A
FRIEND!

from Autumn Hill will be our speaker,
and she has some wonderful ideas on how to bring
beauty to your home simply and economically. You
don't want to miss this.

Nancy
Hodge -
Nancy
has been with us since we opened in 2009, and she
got the job because she told me "You need me to
work here". And, you know she was exactly right.
She definitely puts the "FUN" into Fun Finds and
Designs. If you haven't met her yet, come in and
say hello and put a little sunshine in your
day.
Most
of you already know Nancy. She is the blonde,
smiling face that usually greats you as soon as
you walk in the door at Fun Finds. Her sunny
personality and infectious laugh are a constant at
Fun Finds and her ability to connect with people
is the gift that keeps on giving. She is one of
those individuals that thoroughly enjoys helping
other people and our customers usually think she
is either Terry's wife, or the owner of the store.
Coming from an entrepreneurial background, having
owned her on bridal shop at one time, Nancy
understands business and the importance of
customer service. Her goal is to make each person
she meets feel special and help them in any way
she can. She achieves that with every person she
meets.

Our
Custom Lampshade Workshop with Deborah Westfal of
Shofar Designs was
FANTASTIC!
Check out the video to catch a
few minutes of the fun. Beautiful fabrics, great
trims, both beaded and braids, good music to work
by, desserts and great women. What more could you
ask? Oh yes! Wait till you see the beautiful lamp
shades we have each created. Everyone has
come away with a "one of a kind" creation and a
great sense of accomplishment. It was such a
success, we will plan another one
soon.
